Team GBC GNCC Season Update

So far, 2011 has been another great year for GNCC ATV racing. As one of the most popular forms of ATV racing, drawing hundreds of competitors each year, the GNCC ATV series has provided great racing in all classes, and GBC Tires riders have been in the thick of it!

Team FRE KTM’s Bryan Cook is leading the charge. At the last round, the notoriously tough SnowShoe GNCC, Cook and his GBC Tires put in a great ride and landed on the podium for the first time this season. Behind him were fellow GBC riders, the Yamaha-mounted Kevin Yoho and Jeff Pickens, who finished 7th and 8th respectively. In the Women’s class, Kristen Atwell also grabbed a podium finish with a third place ride.

Overall, it’s been a strong season for the GBC team. Cook is the highest place Pro rider, sitting 5th in points after a string of consistent finishes. But Cook isn’t the only GBC rider with a good season going – GBC tires are landing on the podium in a number of support classes! Other notable performances include Kristen Atwell being tied for second in the Women’s class, Kevin McKeown leading the 16-19 C Class, Forrest Whorton leading the 4×4 Super Senior Class, and Garon Davis leading the Sport 15+ Class.

With six rounds left in the 2011 GNCC season, things are sure to just keep getting better for GBC riders. The next round takes place in Milfield, Ohio, for the John Penton GNCC on July 9-10.
