GBC Race Report: Dirt Series 1 & More

GBC Motorsports riders were laying down some hot laps all around the country this weekend as several different events yielded several more class and overall wins. Numerous GBC racers are filling in the gaps of their race schedules with local and regional races, and GBC Motorsports is proud to continue its support of local and national ATV racing.

Dylan Dixon Wins Opening Round of the 2012 Dirt Series

GBC Motorsports helped celebrate the inaugural round of the new Dirt Series at Cahuilla Creek in Anza, CA this past weekend. The weather was hot and sunny, the track in good condition and the fans out in numbers in anticipation of this new and exciting racing series.

GBC Motorsport rider Dylan Dixon (WORCS, Quad-X) jumped at the opportunity to race this new Southern California race series and made a statement in the process. Aboard his GBC Bomb Squad MX tires, Dixon took the holeshot in the second moto and won both 450 Pro Class motos for an overall 1st place finish.

450 Pro Class rider Javier Palacios finished third in the first moto and fourth in the second for an overall 3rd place podium finish. Palacios was also running Bomb Squad MX tires from GBC Motorsports.

Kayla Smith, fresh off a WORCS Round 5 class win, grabbed the holeshot in both motos and won both motos in the UTV Stock 700 class aboard her GBC Dirt Commanders.

The second round of the 2012 Dirt Series is scheduled for June 20th at Milestone MX in Riverside, CA. For more information on the Dirt Series visit

Braden Henthorn Wins Round 2 of AWRCS

Up-and-coming GNCC racer Braden Henthorn took the opportunity of an off-weekend to race Round 2 of the American Woods Racing Championship Series in Wellsville, Ohio. Henthorn took the overall ATV win and looks to continue his success in the upcoming Can-Am Mountaineer Run GNCC in Masontown, WV this weekend. For more info on the series visit

Johnny Gallagher Takes 2nd Overall at WNYOA Hare Scramble Round 2

GBC Motorsports Pro GNCC racer Johnny Gallagher also made the most of his weekend off, traveling to Newark Valley, NY for Round 2 of the Western New York Off-Road Association Hare Scramble Series. Gallagher finished 2nd Overall out of over 150 quads and will join Henthorn as GNCC racing returns this weekend in West Virginia. For more series info visit
